CLASS DESCRIPTION Days 1 & 2 will include the material from the regular Basic Seminar. Day 3 will include instruction on additional reference pages (in both Basic and Advanced format), more practice with dictation at different levels in the Wise List, sample Wise Guide enrichment activities, and in-depth lesson planning.

DIRECTIONS From 880: Take the Tennyson Avenue exit heading East. Turn left at the light at Patrick Avenue. The chapel is .6 miles down the street on the right side. It is set back from the street, so look for the chapel's sign near the road.
LUNCH We will break for a one-hour lunch starting around 12:00 p.m. Bring a bag lunch or be prepared to purchase something from a local restaurant. We will have access to a refrigerator and microwave. Snacks, coffee and tea will be provided during the day.
WHAT TO BRING You will need your copies of Spell to Write and Read, The WISE Guide, the phonogram cards, and paper for notes. If you do not have any of these materials, please order them from me by the registration deadline to ensure that they will be on site for you. Also bring a set of highlight pens including yellow, orange, pink, blue and green. (A limited supply of highlighter sets will be available for purchase at the class.) Alumni should bring the Learning Log they started at the last seminar they attended.

DIRECTIONS Southbound on 99:
Take the Ripon exit. At the stop sign turn right onto Second Street (unmarked because
it is the top of an overpass).
Northbound on 99: Take the Ripon Exit. At the stop sign go straight which
leads you over an overpass and is Second Street (not marked).
Once you're on Second Street: The next stop sign
is Stockton Avenue, go straight onto Second Street. Stay on Second street to Palm Avenue (5 blocks). Turn right on Palm
Avenue (no stop sign). At the end of Palm Avenue turn left onto Main Street. Ripon Grace Brethren is the second building
on the left just before the 4-way stop sign crossing Maple Avenue. After you park, look for the bright yellow signs directing
you to our room.
